1.) Describe the term ‘prototype’ and give reasons why it could be used.

Prototype is a sample of a part or product designed in advance of production. It is used to allow demonstration, evaluation, or testing of the product.

2.) Discuss another industry other than the car industry that would use prototypes.

Another industry other than the car industry the would use prototypes is a plane industry. A plane industry uses prototype because it travels for a long time and is really high. If anything happens to the plane, a lot of passangers would be injured and it would cause more damage as it is a lot bigger than a car.

Provide at least ONE image of a prototype within that industry.

The key considerations that a car designer must examine when designing before developing a design plane are:

Does it have most of the features that the new cars have, o all the features work properly

Is it safe to drive the car, does it have airbags

The fuel consumption

It is secured and has less chance of being stolen

Does it have an air conditioneer
